The Ministry of Women will make up to R$3 million available for projects sent by civil society organizations that involve actions to prevent violence against women.

Entities will be able to submit proposals until November 30th — those approved will be able to receive between R$100,000 and R$400,000.

The idea is that the initiatives involve popular education and training on access to rights and prevention of violence against women. They can also address strategies to strengthen protection networks to face the problem.

All actions must be aligned with the Women Living Without Violence Program and the National Pact to Prevent Feminicides.

In another notice, the ministry will select proposals from bodies and entities from states and municipalities aimed at equipping Reference Centers for Assistance to Women in situations of violence.

The notice involves the transfer of resources of R$200,000 to R$300,000, in a single transfer, for a total of R$1.5 million. The money can be used to buy equipment, furniture or a car.
