Federal deputy Marangoni (União-SP), rapporteur of the MP (provisional measure) of the new Minha Casa, Minha Vida, intends to present his opinion next week. The expectation is that he will be voted on in the sequence in the special commission.
Marangoni is considering creating a progressive table of tax benefits for companies that build housing units in urban centers that are already supplied with clean energy.
The idea was debated with the ministers of the Civil House, Rui Costa, of Institutional Relations, Alexandre Padilha, and of Cities, Jader Filho.
“In this scoring criterion, the better located, with more infrastructure, more public equipment, closer to commerce, closer to employment, we increase the level of tax incentives for these undertakings”, said Marangoni. The current tax benefit, according to the rapporteur, is 4%.
This table should also take into account the reuse of so-called gray water, that resulting from use in the sink, shower, tank or washing machine, and the installation of solar panels, for example.
Marangoni intends to include in its report incentives for unit connectivity, with buildings already equipped with broadband infrastructure and high-speed internet.
Throughout the maturation process, the deputy held eight public hearings in different states. The last one was in São Paulo, on Wednesday.
