Unfortunately, it is common to see fighters in jiu-jitsu, muay thai, boxing or any other modality failing to compete in important competitions far from their regions due to lack of sponsorship. Many resort to raffles, sales on signs or crowdfunding to be able to pay the price of travel.

In jiu-jitsu there are competitions every weekend in all states of Brazil. Without sponsorship, you can only compete in the regionals. Not to mention that there are times when loyalty programs also offer incredible discounts of up to 80% on the purchase of points and miles, making this way, the trip is much cheaper in terms of miles than buying the same ticket with cash”, he explained.
