Manaus (AM) – The “Meu Bloquinho” event, which was a hit among Manaus families last year, is back and takes place on February 11th, from 4pm to 9pm, at the Sesc Balneário multi-sports court. The program promises to bring a lot of joy and fun to participants with an electric trio, live music, a mask workshop, a costume contest, among other activities.
Tickets are now available at the Sesc Relationship Centers, located in the Center, Rua Henrique Martins, nº 427; Alvorada, Avenida Constantinople, nº 288; and Cidade Nova, Rua Visconde de Itanhaém, nº 94, 8am to 5pm.
For commercial workers and their dependents it costs R$15, and for the general public, R$20. Tickets sold on the day of the event will cost R$25. In addition, there will be table sales to offer a greater comfort to families. Children up to 3 years old do not pay entry.
Costume contest
Costumes are characteristic elements of carnival that promote more joy and stimulate creativity. With this in mind, Sesc will hold a costume contest with prizes in trophies and money. Participants will be able to register on the day of the event and compete in the categories: luxury, creativity and family.
The winner of the first place in the luxury category, in addition to the trophy, R$1500, the second R$1000 and the third R$500. In the creativity and family categories, the first places will take home trophies and cash prizes of R$ 700, R$500 and R$300.
