Mayor Furlan guarantees investment of R$ 100 thousand for each club in Macapá in Amapazão 2024 – News of Brazil

This Friday morning (23), the mayor of Macapá, Dr. Furlan, met with representatives of the capital’s clubs competing in the 2024 Amapaense Championship to discuss investments in the competition. The meeting, which took place at the City Hall headquarters, was attended by the director of the Technical Department of the Amapaense Football Federation (FAF), Manoel Figueira, and councilor Cláudio, who intermediated contact between the mayor and the clubs.
During the meeting, Mayor Furlan announced the transfer of R$100,000 to each club in Macapá that participates in Amapazão 2024. The amount will be transferred next Tuesday (27) and aims to assist the teams in preparing and competing in the championship.
The director of the FAF Technical Department, Manoel Figueira, thanked the mayor for his support and highlighted the importance of the investment for the development of Amapá football. “This investment is essential to strengthen the clubs and raise the level of Amapá football. We thank Mayor Furlan for his sensitivity and commitment to sport”, said Figueira.
The club representatives also thanked the mayor for the support and were confident that the investment will contribute to the success of Amapazão 2024. “This is a historic moment for Amapá football. Mayor Furlan’s investment will give clubs the opportunity to prepare better and generate greater competitiveness in the championship”, said the president of Trem, Socorro Marinho.
