INVESTIGATION

The payment would have been made with funds from the bank account of former President Jair Bolsonaro.

The Federal Police (PF) identified a series of cash deposits for former First Lady Michelle Bolsonaro (PL). According to the corporation, the transfers were made by Jair Bolsonaro’s (PL) former assistant, Mauro Cid, and totaled R$ 8,600.00. An investigation is investigating whether the payments would come from a scheme to divert resources and crack the Planalto Palace.

According to the column by journalist Aguirre Talento, for the UOL, in WhatsApp message exchanges, the PF found seven receipts for cash deposits, which were forwarded to Michelle Bolsonaro’s advisors. The conversations were intercepted by the PF through the breach of confidentiality of Mauro Cid’s communications.

“The analysis also identified six proof of deposits for First Lady Michelle Bolsonaro in the period from 3/8/2021 to 05/12/2021, made through fractional deposits in self-service ATMs and a proof of deposit in cash, possibly in face-to-face service. The vouchers were located both in the WhatsApp group of the Aid for Orders of the Presidency of the Republic, as well as in message exchanges”,

says the PF report.

According to the investigation, deposits were made in a common method in cases of cracking: fractionally and in small amounts.

“These deposits predominantly occurred in fractions, that is, the depositor, instead of using a single envelope with the desired amount, divided the total amount into two different envelopes, making the deposits successively in a short period of time (minutes)”.

Health plan payment

According to investigations, on September 1, 2021, one of Michelle Bolsonaro’s advisors sent a bill for the health plan of the former first lady’s brother. The payment would have been made with funds from the bank account of former President Jair Bolsonaro.

At the end of the same month, Michelle’s advisor sent another bill for the former first lady’s brother’s health plan and, although Cid argued that the expense could not be covered by the Orders Aid, he forwarded the demand to the team. .

“There is no way to send this type of ticket. (…) When that’s the case, just send me the request for the money and you’ll pay for it, because that’s not the president’s expense, nor Michelle’s! Yes, it must be from a third party that she is paying the bill for that third one there!”, said Mauro Cid.

For the Federal Police, since it is not an expense of the Presidency of the Republic, the payment of the bill is an indication of the diversion of resources from the federal government.

“The information collected demonstrates that, despite the expense having nothing to do with the President of the Republic or the first lady, Mauro Cid consents and authorizes Lieutenant Crivelatti (servant of the Orders Assistance) to forward the amount of R$ 590, 91, from the Ajudância de Ordens, to Vanderlei to pay for the health plan, with Yuri Daniel Ferreira Lima, brother of Mrs. Michelle Bolsonaro ”, found the Federal Police.

Former president Jair Bolsonaro instructed Mauro Cid to pay a bill in cash to pay a hospital expense for Michelle’s aunt, Maria Helena Braga.

According to the PF, it was not possible to identify whether the funds for the payment came from Jair Bolsonaro’s personal account or from the Orders Assistance.

“In the WhatsApp group of the Help of Orders, Mauro Cid forwards guidance from the Hon. Mr. President of the Republic, in the sense that the payment of the GRU should be made in cash to ‘avoid misinterpretations’”.
