Singer said she will donate an amount equivalent to the necklace to charities as a pledge for finding the jewel

Manu Bahtidão revealed on social media that he managed to recover the diamond necklace that had been stolen while getting off the tram, in Santa Inês, Maranhão. The robbery took place last Sunday (11).

In stories published on her Instagram profile this Tuesday (13), Manu said that she managed to recover the jewelry, which had been a gift from her husband, Anderson Halliday.

“I’m stopping by to thank God and Lieutenant Colonel Aurélio. Thank you very much. Mayor Felipe of the city of Santa Inês, everyone who mobilized to find our necklace, security personnel, the municipal guards. Thank you very much. They found the necklace. As soon as he’s with me, I’ll show you,” she said.

After it was stolen, Manu promised that if the necklace was found, he would donate the value of the jewelry to a charity. Revealing that she recovered the item, the singer stated that she will keep her promise. “Yes, let’s donate to the institution”, she added, without mentioning the amount or the chosen organization.

At the time of the robbery, Manu vented on social media: “My show in Santa Inês, in the trio, is over, I’m so devastated. They stole my necklace on the way down from the tram, I wasn’t even going to put that necklace on because I was wearing clothes with a higher collar, in short, I already had it on my body. On the way down, they broke into the cordon, grabbed my necklace from below and stole it,” said Manu in a video published on social media.
