IPEMED/Afya offers free care in five areas: Neuropediatrics, Nutrology, Dermatology, Endocrinology and General Pediatrics

Manaus (AM) – Consultations for the community are part of the practical activities of the postgraduate courses offered by the institution and take place every month at the headquarters of IPEMED/Afya, at Avenida André Araújo, 2767, Aleixo, in the Center-South Zone of Manaus.

People who need assistance in the aforementioned areas can contact us at (92) 9379-9297. Patient triage is open for scheduling in the month of July. This Friday (23) consultations will be held in the areas of Dermatology and Endocrinology and on Saturday (24) in the specialty of General Pediatrics.

The director of IPEMED/Afya Manaus, Suelen Falcão Gonçalves, explains that patient care is carried out by doctors who are studying postgraduate courses and by professors.

“This is an opportunity for students to have direct contact with real cases, in the specialties they are studying. In return, the population receives specialized medical care of quality and free of charge”,

stated.

IPEMED/Afya is an institution with 18 years in the market, a reference in the training of specialists in different areas of Medicine and is present in all regions of the country. In Manaus, with a premium structure, IPEMED, being the largest medical graduate in the country, has seven classrooms, 18 outpatient clinics and two small procedure rooms.
