Manaus FC requests review of infraction notice filed by deputy attorney general of the STJD

Manaus (AM) – Manaus Futebol Clube filed a request to review the decision of the deputy attorney general of the Superior Court of Sports Justice (STJD), Gustavo Gomes Silveira (RJ), who archived the complaint from the Amazon club against Aparecidense-GO without offering a complaint.
The STJD attorney general filed the club’s complaint against Aparecidense (GO), for the irregular lineup of full-back Matheus Leal, in the match against Floresta, in the 15th round of Series C. The team relegated to Series D, tries to continue with accusation in the quest to remain in Series C next year.
The request, addressed to the attorney general of the STJD, Ronaldo Botelho Piacente (SP), is based on the controversy, whether or not, of the infraction provided for in article 214 of the Brazilian Code of Sports Justice (CBJD). The document confirming the filing of the infringement notice here.
The article determines that the club will serve a penalty if it “includes in the team, or makes it appear in the summary or equivalent document, an athlete in an irregular situation to participate in the match”.
Therefore, considering that the athlete Matheus Leal was suspended for the third yellow card (punished in the 1st, 13th and 14th rounds) and was not fit to play in the 15th round, the consummation of the infraction does not depend on participation in the game, resulting in presentation between related athletes.
