Manaus (AM) – Manaus FC and RPE Parintins decide the title of the second round of the 2024 Amazonense Championship, this Sunday (7), at 6pm, at Arena da Amazônia. The Amazon Football Federation (FAF) announced the date, location and time of the final this Thursday (4).

The champion of the second round is guaranteed in the general final of the State and will decide the title with Amazonas FC – champion of the first round -, and also guarantees places in Series D of the Brazilian Championship, Copa do Brasil and Copa Verde in 2025.

Manaus and Parintins will face each other for the second time this season. The first duel took place on February 6, in the fifth round of the first round, and was won 1-0 by the team from the interior, with a goal from Lucas Sibito.

Manaus is in the final of the second round of the 2024 Amazonense Championship after beating Unidos do Alvorada 4-0, this Wednesday afternoon (3), at Arena da Amazônia. Roney, Wendel Nery, Jean Torres and Lúcio Maranhão scored the goals for the Emerald classification. With the result, Alvorada was relegated to Series B of the State Championship.

At the end of the duel, full-back Wendel Nery, from Manaus, was elected Caboco do Jogo, an award offered by the Amazon Football Federation (FAF) to the best player of the match.

RPE Parintins scores at the end

RPE Parintins is a finalist in the second round of the Amazonense Championship after beating Manauara 2-1. Léo Itaperuna and Állefe scored for the classifieds, while Rafinha scored for Robô da Amazônia.

The winning goal came in the 55th minute of the second half, when Léo Itaperuna invaded the area, fell in a play with Paulinho and the referee signaled a penalty. In the 59th minute, Állefe went for the penalty, hit a cross and put Parintins in front again.

Leader of the general classification, Manauara already has a guaranteed place in Series D of the 2025 Brazilian Championship, and now focuses its attention on competing in the 2024 edition from the end of April. Robô da Amazônia debuts at home against Rio Branco-AC, with details to be released by the CBF.
