Mobile health units act strategically in meeting the demands of the population in the health area

Manaus(AM)- Residents of Cidadão 10, in Parque Riachuelo, in the West zone, will be able to seek care from the Primary Care Network, managed by the City of Manaus, at the Basic Mobile Health Unit 01 (UBSM01), starting this Monday, (5 ), from 8 am to 4 pm.

The unit of the Municipal Health Secretariat (Semsa), which was installed in the Braga Mendes community, will offer consultations with a general practitioner and a nurse, dental care, rapid testing for the detection of Sexually Transmitted Infections (STIs), collection of preventive, insertion and scheduling procedures in the Regulatory System (Sisreg), renewing prescriptions, and dispensing medication for an initial period of two weeks.

The holder of Semsa, Shádia Fraxe, informs that the mobile health units act strategically in meeting the demands of the population in the area of ​​health.

“The mobile units allow more convenience for the population and reinforce our work in the Primary Care Network, which consists of offering services for disease prevention and reduction of injuries. The impact of this initiative is very significant on the well-being of the population”,

UBS Móvel 02 continues to provide services in the Vale do Sinai community, where it is located on Rua Tangará (former Rua 16) in Cidade Nova, west of the capital.

Unit 03 also continues in the Tarumã-Açu region, providing support to the Lindalva Damasceno Family Health Unit, on Rua 7, also in the West zone.

UBS Móvel 04 continues to support USF Geraldo Magela, which is undergoing renovations, at Rua Rio Envira, 442, Armando Mendes neighborhood, in the North zone of Manaus.

UBS 02, 03 and 04 are open from Monday to Friday, from 7 am to 5 pm, according to the schedule of the units that are providing support.
