Ricardo Barros (PP) and Fernando Francischini, two politicians who in the last four years gained prominence as allies of former President Jair Bolsonaro (PL), are now housed in the Government of Paraná, where Ratinho Junior (PSD) begins his second term.

Ricardo Barros was leader of the Bolsonaro government in the Chamber and, although he was re-elected for the seventh term in the House in the 2022 elections, he ended up choosing not to return to Brasília. In Paraná, the Barros family maintains an electoral base in the city of Maringá and a long trajectory in politics and in command of the PP – the current president of the party in the state is state deputy Maria Victoria, daughter of the couple Ricardo Barros and Cida Borghetti and in the exercise of the third term in the Legislative Assembly.
