On the evening of this Wednesday (22), the São Paulo Federation announced the selection and teams participating in the most traditional grassroots competition in Brazilian football, the Copa São Paulo de Futebol Júnior, which in 2024 will be in its 54th edition.
Amapá’s representative in the competition, Sport Clube Macapá, is in group 29 and together with teams from Flamengo (SP), Vasco (RJ) and Potyguar (RN). This is the first time that the Amapá team competes in the Copinha and promises to strive to achieve great results.
“We have been working day and night for four months to represent our state well… May we have the fans of the people of Amapá on our side”wrote the club on its social networks.
The competition starts on January 2nd and has 128 teams divided into 32 groups. The matches will take place in Guarulhos (SP).
Leão da Avenida Fab will represent Amapá in the Copinha for having been Amapá under-20 champion over São Paulo (AP) this year.
