Low audience of “Lula live” and the government’s communication strategies

– Episode of the podcast 15 Minutes talks about the Lula government’s attempts to improve communication.
*) The communication of the Lula government has been the target of a series of criticisms. They even come from allies of the President of the Republic.
During the long meeting with the ministers, last week, Lula defended that there be an alignment of all portfolios with the Secretariat of Communication (Secom) to avoid misaligned disclosures with the Planalto. In addition, he stressed that the policies implemented are “by the government” and not by ministers.
Amidst the criticism, Lula has tried alternatives. Weekly lives are one of them. But so far, it looks like it hasn’t caught on. Even because the audiences have not been the best.
On Monday (19), for example, the second edition of the program “Conversa com o Presidente” recorded just over 7,000 simultaneous hits on the PT’s YouTube channel. In last week’s edition, that number was even lower, with around 5,800 simultaneous views.
This episode of the 15 Minutes podcast talks about the Lula government’s attempts to improve communication. The guest is Wesley Oliveira, from the República da Gazeta do Povo team, who writes a report on the subject.
