Justice approves Recovery of Paraná; club can sell the SAF

O Paraná Club took an important step towards selling its SAF. This Friday, the 1st Bankruptcy Court approved the Judicial Recovery of Tricolor. With that, the club is free to sell its Sociedade Anônima do Futebol.
Paraná’s goal is to get investments of more than R$ 100 million in football. The company that would buy SAF would also assume the payment of the club’s debts, which currently total around R$ 123 million.
The approval of the Judicial Recovery of Tricolor also served to reduce this debt. Previously, the club’s debt with its creditors was around R$ 156 million.

Among the nine interested in an eventual SAF in Paraná, the report by One two sports it also found out that Grupo Massa, owned by businessman Ratinho, and a group led by businessman João Destro, current owner of Pinheirão, are also present.
Destro’s interest, incidentally, would be precisely linked to the possibility of using the stadium, sold at auction in June 2012, for R$ 57.5 million.
