Defender of the autistic cause, the federal deputy, Josenildo (PDT-AP), filed this Monday, 22, with the National Council of Justice (CNJ), a Disciplinary Complaint against the judge, Raimundo Bodea, who last week was the author of discriminatory speech against the entire autistic society and atypical families, by suggesting that people with autistic children or with a disability should not take a public tender for the position of judge.
The speech took place during a session of the Court of Justice of Maranhão, and gained great negative repercussions from the press and on social networks. Outraged by the judge’s attitude, the parliamentarian issued a note of repudiation of the case, and when filing the Disciplinary Complaint, seeks that discriminatory and harmful speeches like this one do not go unpunished nor are they perpetuated in society. Josenildo, asks for appropriate measures to investigate the case and apply the appropriate disciplinary sanctions to Judge Raimundo Bogea, in order to reaffirm the Judiciary’s commitment to equality, justice and respect for the fundamental rights of all citizens.

Josenildo composes in the Federal Chamber the parliamentary fronts for the Protection of People with Autistic Spectrum Disorder, and in Defense of the Rights of People with Disabilities. Among its main actions for the autistic cause is the approval of PL 3630, which aims to make mandatory the creation of comprehensive care centers for autistic people in the Unified Health System (SUS).
