Former deputy Jean Wyllys should be appointed in the coming weeks to occupy a position in the Communication Secretariat of the Presidency of the Republic (Secom) of President Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva (PT). The expectation is that Wyllys will act in the communication planning area of the PT government.
The former deputy landed in Brazil on June 30, the date that the Superior Electoral Court (TSE) declared the ineligibility of former president Jair Bolsonaro (PL). The politician left Brazil in 2019 after the murder of councilwoman Marielle Franco, citing threats to his physical integrity.
The politician’s return was celebrated on social networks by first lady Rosângela Silva, Janja. “A day to give our Jean Wyllys a tight hug and say personally how good it is to have him back. Brazil is yours!”, wrote Janja in a publication made on social networks.
