Manaus (AM) – The C&A Institute, C&A’s social pillar, opens registrations for the “I Want to Be a Model, and Now” project, focusing on people who want to enter the world of fashion and which also mobilizes employees who will volunteer in an immersive exchange experience with the local community.

In Amazonas, 15 indigenous people will be selected, aged 16 and over, who have the dream of being catwalk models or commercial models, building or developing their career in the fashion segment. The activities will take place in person between January 30th and February 2nd.

The initiative includes training, training and the opportunity to parade at the Centro Cultural dos Povos da Amazônia, with a fee available. In addition, participants will have access to training with C&A experts, commercial quality photos for use on social networks, the possibility of connecting with a modeling agency and a six-month course paid for by the C&A Institute to develop modeling techniques.

“We think of this project as a way of providing an exchange of information that stimulates and encourages young people to act in whatever field they want. Furthermore, this is also a very enriching movement from a sociocultural point of view for our employees, in addition to encouraging autonomy for people in these communities”,
