Indigenous peoples of different ethnic groups carry out mobilizations and acts across the country in protest against the time frame, which will have the trial resumed this Wednesday afternoon (7) by the Federal Supreme Court (STF).

The timeframe establishes that only areas that were already occupied by the people on the day of the enactment of the Federal Constitution, on October 5, 1988, can be demarcated.

The main mobilization takes place in Brasilia, where indigenous people will be able to follow the trial next to the STF building through a big screen. Another 50 people will be able to enter the plenary during the voting.

Still in the federal capital, a group has been camped since Monday (5) at the Esplanada dos Ministérios.

There are also indigenous demonstrations on highways in Minas Gerais, Paraná, Mato Grosso do Sul, Maranhão, Espírito Santo and Santa Catarina.
