Nadiele is a well-known name in the Amazon primary sector and has already dedicated 18 years to Idam

Manaus (AM) – In 28 years of existence, for the first time, the Institute for Sustainable Agricultural and Forestry Development of the State of Amazonas (Idam) has a woman at the head of its technical board. Forestry engineer Nadiele Pereira Pacheco assumed the position of technical director of the agency this Monday (8), after having her appointment published in the Official State Gazette (DOE) last week.

Nadiele is a well-known name in the Amazon primary sector. Of her 38 years of life, almost 18 were dedicated to Idam, where, in 2006, she joined as an intern and worked to help develop management plans. Since then, the forestry engineer has worked in various sectors of the institute, such as the Non-Timber Forest Production Support Management (GPNM), the Department of Technical Assistance and Forestry Extension (Datef) and the extinct Directorate of Technical Assistance and Forestry Extension ( Ditef).

“It is an honor and a great responsibility to take on this role. But I am convinced that I will do my best for Idam, for the public Ater of Amazonas and, mainly, for the state’s farmers and producers. I thank God, Governor Wilson Lima and President Vanderlei for the trust and opportunity”, said Nadiele, new director of Idam.

“It is recognition of a life dedicated to the primary sector. Our new technical director is highly qualified to fill the role and has a vast amount of knowledge. It is an honor to be able to count on her, as she is an exemplary professional and recognized for her dedication to strengthening the Technical Assistance and Rural Extension (Ater) provided to the Amazonian primary sector by our institute”,

said Vanderlei Alvino, CEO of Idam.

Alvino also pointed out that Nadiele on the board reinforces the increasingly strong presence of women in the primary sector and in management positions. “It is a source of pride for our management to have a professional like Nadiele at the head of such an important position, which will certainly inspire other women to move up to increasingly prominent positions in the job market”, he assessed.

Diplan under new coordination

In addition to the technical directorate, Idam’s Institutional Planning Directorate (Diplan) is also under new coordination. Lawyer Victor Medeiros Dantas de Góes is the director.

The newest member of Idam has already been undersecretary of the Civil House, undersecretary of the Municipal Secretariat of Administration, Planning and Management (Semad), superintendent Geres of Geap in Amazonas and has extensive experience in various areas of Law, such as, for example, Public, Corporate, Tax, Labor and Corporate.

“I come to add and contribute to strategies aimed at boosting Ater in Amazonas developed by Idam. I am grateful for the opportunity and together we will work even harder to advance the primary sector and create better working conditions for local rural producers”, concluded the director.
