The National Corregedoria of the Public Prosecutor’s Office opened an investigation to determine the conduct of the Attorney General of Justice of Minas Gerais, Jarbas Soares, at the head of the Public Ministry of the state.

The internal affairs department’s decision is based on representation made by state prosecutors and prosecutors based on information that businessman Lucas Kallas, from the mining sector, granted Soares a ride by jet from Miami, Florida, to Belo Horizonte (MG). .

The report got in touch with the MP-MG (Minas Gerais Public Prosecutor’s Office) and is awaiting a decision.
