Federal deputy Eduardo Bolsonaro (PL-SP) called the Minister of Finance, Fernando Haddad, a “cannon fodder” of President Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva (PT), this Friday (8), in a Publication on the X network.

In the message, the son of former president Jair Bolsonaro made reference to a headline from Power 360which points out that the fiscal hole is approaching almost R$1 trillion, if the interest on the debt is added.

“Haddad is Lula’s cannon fodder. He strictly follows the orders of the head of the faction. His mission is to attract all the wear and tear to himself and preserve the boss”, highlighted Eduardo Bolsonaro.

Still according to the deputy, Haddad could be “exonerated” with the result of the policies he himself ordered. “Later on, he will be dismissed by the boss, who in front of the cameras will look surprised at the result of the policies he himself ordered. He has a method,” he added.

The federal government’s accounts closed 2023 with a negative result of R$230.5 billion or 2.12% of GDP, according to a report released at the end of by the Treasury.
