Governor Wilson Lima visits the new presidency of TJAM and emphasizes union between the powers

During the meeting, the governor spoke about partnership to improve people’s lives and independence between powers

Manaus (AM) – Governor Wilson Lima (União Brasil) met, this Wednesday (25), with the new administration of the judiciary, chaired by the judge Nélia Caminha Jorge, at the headquarters of the Court of Justice of the State of Amazonas (TJAM).

In the first institutional visit to the new command of TJAM, the governor reinforced the state’s willingness to join efforts to carry out services and actions that benefit the population, mainly in the interior of Amazonas.

The governor once again emphasized the importance of maintaining collaboration between the powers, respecting the independence of each one.

“This conversation between the powers is important, taking into account the characteristics of our state. We have common problems, for example, the difficulty of making communication reach the interior or making justice reach the people who need it most, the most needy, and we can only move forward if there is unity between the powers, understanding that each one is independent, but we need the collaboration of each other”,

highlighted Wilson Lima.

For Judge Nélia Caminha, the third woman in charge in over 100 years of the state judiciary, TJAM will continue to act as an important partner of the Government of Amazonas. “This visit is a way for us to strengthen ties, open a communication channel, reinforce institutional contacts and establish dialogues between the powers”, summarized the president of TJAM.

In addition to the governor and the president of TJAM, the meeting, at the headquarters of the Court, Aleixo neighborhood, south-central zone, was attended by the state government secretaries, Sérgio Litaiff, and the Civil House, Flávio Antony, the vice-president of TJAM, judge Joana dos Santos Meirelles, and other judges.
