Governor Clécio Luís presents HE improvements to MP prosecutors – News of Brazil

The Governor of the State, Clecio Luis, presented this Tuesday, 7, the improvements of Hospital de Emergências Dr. Oswaldo Cruz to the Public Heritage Defense prosecutors Laércio Nunes Mendes and Anderson Batista. Representatives of the Public Ministry of Amapá were able to see the new reception, the improvements already made with the renovations and the current difficulties still encountered due to overcrowding at the hospital.

“We are very satisfied with everything that is being done. We understand the complexity of a work in a unit in full operation and we are aware of the inconveniences and difficulties. We are sure that, once completed, this work will greatly meet the needs of the people of Amapá”declared the promoter, Laercio Nunes Mendes.

The visit, which took place right after the governor’s meeting with the prosecutors, went through all the spaces on the ground floor of the HE, including corridors, wards, offices, triage, rest room, internal regulation core and the building’s new reception and entrance.

“It is a purpose of management to be transparent with the population. Since the beginning of the year, we have renovated 30 spaces in the HE. It has already improved a lot, but still needs to improve even more. We have a plan to expand the beds and in fact clear the hospital corridors”, emphasized the governor Clecio Louis.

The visit was accompanied by the commander of the Fire Department, Col. Alexandre Veríssimo, the technical director of the Fire Department, Col. Orielson Pantoja, Secretary of State for Infrastructure, David Covre and Deputy Chief of Staff, Emannuel Dante.

Improvements applied to HE

10 wards, 10 bathrooms, 2 medication rooms, dressing room, laboratory reception and collection room, 3 rest rooms for medical and nursing teams, reception room, in addition to repairs and improvements in the corridors, side of the building have already been renovated and access ramp to the second floor.

The services carried out include changing the coating, new ceiling and flooring, new fixtures for the bathrooms, painting, installing new air stations, changing light bulbs, changing gutters, installing windows, installing glass, installing water fountains, television, new chairs, sound system for calling patients and identification through Manchester Protocol wristbands.
