The government wants application companies and representatives of drivers and delivery men to advance by the 29th in an agreement on the regulation of work by platforms, after another meeting between the parties this Monday (14).

At the meeting, Amobitec (Brazilian Association of Mobility and Technology) presented a proposal that includes minimum earnings for workers, but with criteria that consider, for example, the period effectively in activity, defined as “the time of travel to the passenger or object of delivery and the transport time of the passenger or goods to their destination.”

The text says that the time connected to the platform cannot be considered for earnings purposes, among other reasons because workers can be connected on one platform while accepting trips on another.

The association also suggests that the main marginal costs of workers be included in the price to be charged to the end user, but claims that it is “operational and technically unfeasible to absolutely assess the value of the costs specifically incurred by each driver or delivery person during the exercise of work .”

Companies also propose an aggregated monthly verification of minimum earnings, instead of per trip or day. According to them, this is justified “bearing in mind that the platforms have different business and pricing models and compete with each other for service providers and users, in addition to the fact that the earnings per ride and delivery have variations caused by factors such as demand .”

Amobitec also proposed minimum values per hour worked for delivery and passenger transport.

In the first case, motorcycles would receive BRL 10.20, cars, BRL 10.86 and bicycles, BRL 6.54. For passenger transport, the minimum per hour worked would be R$ 15.60.
