The attorney general of the Public Ministry of Amapá (MP-AP), Paulo Celso Ramos, and the team from the Department of Information Technology (DTI/MP-AP), met on Friday (19), with the secretary of Administration, Paulo Lemos, and team. Representatives of the Government of Amapá presented the system that will be used to collect and validate data from servers, so that re-registration can be carried out safely and without violating laws and rights. The re-registration of more than 30 thousand servers begins next week.

Secretary Paulo Lemos justified that the decision to present the system to the Public Ministry of Amapá before starting registration is important to guarantee data security, both for servers and SEAD. “This re-registration is necessary and needs to be done very seriously. MP-AP has expertise in this matter, which is why we are here, as our technical and management team, to hear the opinion of IT technicians and also Attorney General Paulo Celso, who has already demonstrated commitment to complying with the General Law of Data Protection (LGPD)”.

The meeting was attended by DTI representatives, Rodinei Paixão, director, and civil servants Janete Lacerda, Marcelo Pantoja, Marceu Farias and Arthur Araújo; Diego Araújo, coordinator of Corporate Systems at SEAD, and Carlos Michel Miranda, deputy secretary of Administration.

This is the first completely digital re-registration, and will be done directly on the Server Portal. The decree that provides for the act was signed in December 2023, and the ordinance that regulates it will be published in the next few days. Paulo Lemos clarified that this procedure will take a little longer, due to the need to collect the data and store it in the system, however, according to the manager, from 2025 onwards, the server will only have to update the data in the month of its birthday .

Diego Araújo presented all the procedures that servers will find on the Portal, the information that will be requested, and the guarantee that the system offers. He also informed that the Decree is based on the main protection and security laws. DTI/MP-AP technicians evaluated the system and made small considerations.

Attorney Paulo Celso thanked the MP-AP for their trust and praised the management’s diligence in protecting data and servers during re-registration. “This is an important step in the state’s public administration, and as a supervisory body, the MP-AP monitors these procedures with the intention that the laws are complied with and employees are not exposed due to system fragility. With this presentation, we saw the seriousness of the team, and we are sure that the re-registration will be carried out without any problems regarding security. We are open to assist and contribute to better public management.
