The State Government has signed yet another partnership to boost the emergence of new businesses. The Commercial Board of Amapá (Jucap) formalized the Technical Cooperation Agreement with the City of Oiapoque that will enable the opening of companies, quickly and practically, without the need to travel to the capital.

Oiapoque is the 11th municipality to sign a partnership with the Government of Amapá to provide integrated service to citizens, reducing bureaucracy in business registration, encouraging local business regularization. So far, the cities of Ferreira Gomes, Laranjal do Jari, Pedra Branca do Amapari, Porto Grande, Santana, Tartarugalzinho, Vitória do Jari, Mazagão, Amapá and Macapá have already been covered.

Jucap is responsible for conducting cooperation terms with municipalities, as a way of encouraging entrepreneurship.

“The objective is to reach all 16 municipalities. This way, we simplify the process and encourage the emergence of new establishments. Entrepreneurs can solve everything without having to leave where they live and this, without a doubt, makes things easier and contributes to our economy”, highlighted the president of Jucap, Alberto Alcolumbre.

Continuous action

In December 2023, Amapá registered the opening of 118 new enterprises, 54 of which were in the services sector, 54 in the commerce sector and 10 in industry. Throughout the year, there were more than 1,700 new ventures.
