Government of AM makes official the event season of the 57th Parintins Festival

Parintins Festival takes place on the 28th, 29th and 30th of June 2024

Manaus (AM) – The governor of Amazonas, Wilson Lima, made the event season of the 57th Parintins Festival official this Friday (15). At the ceremony at Teatro Amazonas, in the center of Manaus, the winning artist of the Mural Bumbódromo 2024 competition was also presented, who will be responsible for the new facade of the building and the brand of the 2024 Festival, created based on the winning art.

On the occasion, the representative of Coca Cola Brasil, Vitor Bica, took the opportunity to confirm the brand’s commitment to the folk festival. According to Bica, for more than 20 years the company has been committed to Amazonian culture, in addition to encouraging the generation of jobs and income in the municipality.

“We have been supporting cattle for 28 years. Last year, in Parintins, was a record for job and income generation. We are very proud; This year the festival will be the biggest ever. We will be there in June celebrating with the oxen”,

said the representative.

The Governor of Amazonas, Wilson Lima, highlighted the relevance of the Parintins Festival for the state’s economy and announced the artist who will be responsible for the visual communication of this year’s contest.

“When we arrive at the launch of the festival, we start to define the strategy, our hearts accelerate for the star to shine. The Parintins Festival is part of Parintins, but the party’s function is to generate employment and income for those who live in Parintins and that is our objective. I want to thank Coca Cola, the festival’s master sponsor who has been with us for over 20 years. All of our visual communication will be based on Pito’s art and also for the design of the festival in 2024”,

highlighted the governor.

Wilson Lima also clarified the strategies being taken by the government to bring improvements to the municipality of Parintins during the festival.

“This year, we have more than a thousand employees involved in the festival. We have all the actions taken so that we can provide public safety, connectivity, we know that the internet in Parintins is bad, but it has improved a lot in recent years”,

concluded the governor.

The presidents of bumbás Caprichoso and Garantido, Rossy Amoêdo and Fred Góes, respectively, praised the sponsors’ commitment to the bois, which help to hold the party in the heart of the Amazon.
