President of Solidariedade, one of Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva’s (PT) base parties in Congress, Paulinho da Força claims that Gleisi Hoffmann “didn’t even have the courage” to seek him out to ask that his party not join the bloc with 173 deputies articulated by the mayor, Arthur Lira (PP-AL).

The PT president called Carlos Lupi, Minister of Social Security and president of the PDT, and Carlos Siqueira, of the PSB, to try to dissuade them from joining Lira’s blocão and convince them to participate in a left-wing grouping, without success. , showed the newspaper O Estado de S. Paulo.

The group is formed by PP, União Brasil, PSDB-Cidadania, Solidariedade, Patriota, Avante, PDT and PSB.

Paulinho says that Gleisi would not even be heard if she sought out Solidarity. The former deputy claims that the government’s relationship with the party is bad, that is, bad and about to be lost.

According to him, the federal administration has practically not fulfilled what it promised to Solidarity, appointing only one person to a second-level position —Jefferson Coriteac, now president of Anater (National Agency for Technical Assistance and Rural Extension), an autarchy linked to the Ministry of Agrarian Development.

The former president of Força Sindical adds that the articulation with the Congress has been misguided and that, in his assessment, the government will lose the first important votes.
