Born in 1968, novelist and poet Gospodinov is the most internationally acclaimed contemporary Bulgarian author. His works have been translated into 25 languages. Angela Rodel was born in Minnesota but lives and works in Bulgaria. His poetry and prose translations have been published in literary journals and anthologies.
