Freepik The free online course “International Legal Framework on Freedom of Expression”, organized by the Knight Center for Journalism in the Americas at the University of Texas (USA), with the support of UNESCO, is open for registration until September 22nd. 📅 Classes: Divided into modules, the program started on Monday (11) and runs until October 8th. As the classes are recorded, the student can watch the videos and do the readings and activities whenever they prefer, as long as they are within the course period. 👉 Registration: It is necessary to create an account on the online platform www.kccourses.org. For information on how to do this, click here to learn more. 📣 Objective: The course deals with legal standards that aim to ensure freedom of expression and the press and the protection of journalists, with special emphasis on Brazil. 👨‍⚖️ For whom: The program is aimed at lawyers, judges and other justice operators, as well as journalists, communicators and all those interested in finding out more about the international legal framework for freedom of expression. The course is taught by André Gustavo Corrêa de Andrade, judge at the Rio de Janeiro Court of Justice (TJ-RJ) and professor specializing in freedom of expression. The internet and the new challenges to Freedom of Expression: from October 2nd to 8th.
