A week after being arrested by the Spanish Civil Guard on charges of recording and sharing a sex video with an underage girl, and then being released, the four players from Real Madrid involved in the case were summoned to give testimony in the Spanish Court.
According to The Confidential, judge Julio Wood scheduled the hearing with the young people for November 8th at the Pre-Trial Court 3 of San Bartolomé, Tirajana. The victim will be heard days before. The four cell phones of those involved will be checked as proof of the accusation.
The complaint was presented to the authorities 15 days ago, in the municipality of Santa María de Guía, in the Canary Islands. The victim is only 16 years old and alleges that one of the young people with whom she had consensual sex recorded an intimate video of the relationship and shared it on WhatsApp.
Although only three players were taken to the Valdebebas justice commission on the day of their arrest, judge Julio Wood intimidated the four involved into giving testimony. There is a possibility that two other players from the professional team will also be called up.
The case occurred in Mógan, Gran Canaria, in June, but the minor’s mother only filed a complaint three months later, claiming that she had no knowledge of the video’s release. According to the investigation, the video may have circulated in changing rooms of other Real Madrid categories.
