The participation of First Lady Janja Lula da Silva in official trips and political meetings with President Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva (PT) is approved by 65% ​​of those interviewed in a survey by the Paraná Pesquisas institute released this Monday (29). In all, 2,023 voters were heard in 164 municipalities in the 26 states and the Federal District (see full text).

Among those interviewed, those from the Northeast region are the most in favor of the participation of the first lady in the government’s agenda (74.1%), as well as voters with higher education with higher education (66.7%). On the other hand, the lowest approval is among southerners (59.4%) and among people aged 60 or over (55.1%).

The survey has a confidence level of 95% and an overall margin of error of 2.2 percentage points, varying from region to region.

Janja has been a constant presence at official events with Lula both in Brazil and on trips abroad, in addition to participating in meetings and giving suggestions to the president on government actions. The first lady was even the target of a representation by the 25th Federal Civil Court of São Paulo for having made a live transmission over the internet using the structure of the Brazilian Communication Company (EBC), in March.
