Five days before its debut on FIFA Club World CupO Fluminense arrived in Saudi Arabia this Wednesday (13). The tricolor delegation arrived in the city of Jeddah in the morning after a 13-hour journey, departing from Rio de Janeiro. The Brazilian team will debut in the competition on Monday (18).
“We have made history this year, we know that the fans have bought into these dreams and been on our side in everything that is happening”, said captain Nino, upon disembarking, in an interview with TV Globo.
The delegation had left Rio, on Tuesday (12), supported by the fans, who accompanied the team at the airport. AeroFlu had a party, flags, flares and lots of support for the Rio team, which will compete in the Club World Cup for the first time in its history.
