Flamengo has been in Morocco, the host country of the 2022 Club World Cup, since early Friday morning and the schedule is intense. The flight with the cast and technical staff landed in Casablanca around 7 am (Brasília time), and the delegation continued its journey to the hotel, located between the city and the capital, Rabat, shortly after 9 am. But there will be no time to rest: at noon, Vítor Pereira leads the first training focused on the semifinal, which takes place next Tuesday.
The team will train at the Prince Moulay El Hassan stadium, stage of the clash between the red-negro and the winner of the duel between Al Hilal and Wydad Casablanca, played on Saturday afternoon. The activity will be open to the press for the first 15 minutes, and then Vítor Pereira will lead the athletes without the presence of spectators.
During the stay in the foreign country, Flamengo seeks alternatives to feel “at home” even though it is more than 7 thousand kilometers from Rio de Janeiro. One of them was to hang a flag at the hotel where the delegation will be staying to welcome the cast.
