CBF sends letter to FIFA against racism against Brazilians abroad

The Brazilian Football Confederation (CBF) sent a letter to FIFA and other international entities to ask for strong measures against cases of racism suffered by Brazilian athletes abroad.
The CBF letter was addressed to FIFA, UEFA and Conmebol. The document lists recent cases of racism and calls for stricter actions, as well as more awareness initiatives.
The CBF also sent the letter to Itamaraty to act in the diplomatic sphere. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs will reinforce the letter.
The cases of vinicius juniorfrom Real Madrid, were the trigger for the CBF and are the main example of impunity listed in the document.
The president of the CBF, Ednaldo Rodrigues, understands that La Liga did not go beyond official notes for serious cases of racism and wants greater rigor.
The letter names Vini Jr, but says that many Brazilian players deal with racial prejudice abroad on a daily basis.
