In order to encourage and promote sports practice, the collaborators of Psico+Social, a project coordinated by the State Secretariat for Social Assistance (Seas), of the Government of Amazonas, in partnership with the Amazon Agency for Economic, Social and Environmental Development ( Aadesam), held the 1st edition of ‘Pedala Psico Day’, this Saturday morning (23). The action brought together around 130 people on the edge of Ponta Negra, west of the capital.

The activity is an initiative of the employees responsible for the program’s workshops and training. According to the project manager, Andreza Lobo, the activity was aimed at State Aid beneficiaries and their families, but anyone who passed by the site also had the opportunity to participate.

“We want to encourage physical activity so that not only our beneficiaries and their families, but the entire population of Manaus has a better quality of life, in addition to publicizing our actions”, emphasized the manager.

25 tricycles and 100 bicycles were made available, through a partnership with a private company, for people who participated in the event.
