The Minister of Institutional Relations, Alexandre Padilha, stated this Tuesday (12) that the Ministry of Sports will have a new secretariat to take care of issues related to sports betting. The management of sports betting will be divided between the Sports and Finance ministries.
“There is a secretariat for monitoring bets created in the Ministry of Finance that has a collection, registration and granting role that is the responsibility of the ministry. But the proposal came and we agree that there is a structure in the Ministry of Sports, yet to be defined, to monitor this betting issue,” said Padilha, the portal reported. Power360.
