The problem of a lack of raw materials, which haunted businesses due to the breakdown in the supply chain due to the pandemic, has returned to normality, according to a Fiesp survey of 243 companies.
According to the entity, the industrial sector registered good levels in the availability of steel, resins, iron, aluminum and cardboard in January.
Almost 86% of the companies indicated a good supply of inputs. About 14% report some difficulty finding such products, but there was no record of a shortage on the market, according to the survey.
For February, the expectation is that the difficulty to find raw materials remains at the same level, around 13%.
According to Fiesp, the interviewed companies also report a 6% increase in the price of electronic components and a 10% increase in glass.
