Extension of the partnership with Glory brings all the organization’s events exclusively to Combate fans

In addition to ‘Glory Rivals 5’, this week’s schedule features Boxing duels and the finals of the Portuguese stage of the Judo Grand Prix

What was already good, got even better for Combate subscribers. The channel has just extended its partnership with Glory, the most important kickboxing franchise in the world today, for the exclusive exhibition of all events produced by the organization. As a result, in addition to ‘Glory Rivals’, the ‘Glory Collision’, a series of events that pits Glory’s heavyweights in major fights within the category, becomes part of the Combat schedule; plus the numbered events, which feature kickboxing’s best fights and determine the future of Glory’s seven divisions.

This Saturday, the 28th, Combate shows from 10 pm, with narration by Luiz Prota and comments by Luciano Andrade, the complete card of ‘Glory Rivals 5’, which takes place in Tulum, Mexico, and puts face to face Mexican Abraham Vidales, third in the featherweight ranking, and Argentine Thomás Aguirre in the main event. Among the Brazilians, Bruno Gazani, from São Paulo, eighth in the lightweight ranking, will be in action in the cage; in addition to Jonas “Salsicha” and Renan Altamiro, who make their debuts in Glory.

From the rings to the mats, as the season for the Brazilian judo team starts this Friday and runs until Sunday, the 29th, in the Portuguese stage of the Grand Prix. For the debut, Brazil has a team of 25 athletes, mixing the elite group, such as Rafaela Silva, Ketleyn Quadros and Rafael Silva, the “Baby”; and new names that arrived by the National Selection. Combate broadcasts all the finals of the tournament live, always at 2 pm, with narration by Natália Lara and comments by Rosicleia Campos.

Another event in the world of fights with live transmission of Combate this weekend is the boxing duel between the Russian, naturalized Canadian, Artur Beterbiev and the British Anthony Yarde, which takes place in London, England. The undefeated Bertebiev puts his IBF, WBC and WBO semi-heavyweight titles on the line against Yarde, who is buoyed by three consecutive wins and the support of the crowd. O Combate shows all the emotions of the confrontation, with narration by Rhoodes Lima and comments by Ana Hissa and Daniel Fucs, starting at 4 pm.
