Doctor Natália Schincariol, former partner of President Lula’s youngest son, made a post saying she suffered from sexism online.

She accuses Luís Cláudio Lula da Silva of physical, moral and psychological violence. A protective measure was issued in her favor earlier this month in the São Paulo Court, and Luís Cláudio denies all accusations.

Natália, given the repercussion of the episode, said she had already been called “ex-BBB”, “vulgar, long hair, big mouth”.

“A woman who has a lot to say and no one will stop me anymore. Doctor, psychoanalyst, psychiatry student. Businesswoman, owner of her own mental health institute”, she wrote this Saturday (13), on her profile.

She further added “that none of this has value when you are a woman” because “they invalidate you, humiliate you, silence you.”

“I will not remain silent in the face of machismo. Machismo is violent. Machismo kills,” he said.

In the police report registered about the case, to which UOL had access, there is information that Luís Claudio had manipulated her into not pressing charges. “My father will protect me and [você] You will lose, I will destroy your soul. I’m going to tell everyone that you’re insane, no one will believe you”, the accused allegedly said, according to his ex-partner.

The victim said that violence has intensified in recent years, which has put his physical and mental integrity at risk. She told the police that she was away from work for a month due to the trauma.

To UOL, last week, Luís Cláudio, 39, said he would “never attack” his ex-partner. “Since the end of the relationship, in January this year, I have always been very attentive to her. I never called her all those names she says. I will prove my innocence”, said he, who is a football manager in Amazonas.

The government and President Lula (PT) became the target of public demands from the opposition after the accusations.

Supporters of Jair Bolsonaro (PL), such as senator Damares Alves (Republicanos-DF), and rivals of the PT member, such as federal deputy Rosangela Moro (União Brasil-SP), questioned Lula’s or his allies’ silence on the matter.

Last Thursday (11), without making reference to his youngest son’s case, Lula gave a speech against domestic violence during a government event and said that “women were not made to be beaten”.

“We all know that in this country there is a lot of violence against women, violence sometimes at home, that husbands often don’t respect their wives,” said the president.
