The measure published by the Government of São Paulo in an extra edition of the Official Gazette this Thursday (2) frees turnstiles on the Metro, CPTM, ViaQuatro, Via Mobilidade and EMTU buses. Free admission will be granted between 9am and 9pm on both test days, in all cities served by the state metropolitan public transport system. São Paulo City Hall had also announced free SPTrans municipal buses for the same days and times. According to municipal management, SPTrans will monitor the operation of buses throughout Sunday and reinforce the fleet of some lines that operate on routes that serve test sites with large student movements.
