Enem 2023: see minimum, maximum and average grades – 01/16/2024 – Education

The MEC (Ministry of Education) released this Tuesday (16) the scores for the Enem (National High School Exam). The averages were released by areas of knowledge, with 516.2 for Languages, codes and their technologies, 522 for human sciences and their technologies, 497.4 for natural sciences and their technologies, 534.9 for mathematics and their technologies and 641 .6 for writing.
In the last item, 60 works achieved a thousand marks, and surpassed the number of 2022, which had 18 essays with the maximum score. See the table below with the notes.
In the 2023 edition, those who scored at least 570 points, around 1 million candidates, have a chance of entering 840 higher education courses in Brazil, according to Inep (National Institute of Educational Studies and Research Anísio Teixeira).
The calculation considered the courses with the lowest cut-off score in the broad competition modality in last year’s Sisu (Unified Selection System), which was 569.2 points.
The group of those who scored in the range of 550 to 600 points was the second largest in this edition of the test, with 479,944 candidates. The largest group was between 500 and 550 points, with 548,739 of the participants.
Furthermore, according to Rubens Lacerda, director of basic education evaluation at Inep, 61% of participants are able to access financing through Prouni. “The majority of graduates who participated in the enem will be able to participate in the Prouni using this cutoff score, which is 509 points.”
This group scored above the cut-off score for 25% of the courses in which it is possible to enter through Prouni.
