Embratur and BB discuss support for tourism projects – 10/27/2023 – Mônica Bergamo

The president of Embratur (Brazilian Agency for International Tourism Promotion), Marcelo Freixo, and the president of Banco do Brasil, Tarciana Medeiros, discussed the possibility of the financial institution supporting projects led by the agency.

According to meeting participants, Medeiros was receptive and signaled that there was room for partnership. One of the initiatives that could be supported by the bank is an unprecedented triathlon competition in Alter do Chão, Pará, in 2025. Audiovisual and literary tourism projects with the potential to promote the segments and project Brazil abroad were also presented.

“We are in a partnership to bring more people to this Brazil that we want to live in, that we want to build. We had a cool debate, but with concrete action, about the literary route, about Alter do Chão and a triathlon race that could be incredible, with sustainability and, also, the rapprochement between audiovisual and tourism”, says Freixo.

Singer Fafá de Belém, 67, posed nude for the lens of photographer Bob Wolfenson. The essay was done especially for Vogue magazine’s first book, “InVogue”. The volume has just been released and features images and interviews with 51 other Brazilian women, such as Costanza Pascolato, Camila Queiroz, Jade Picon and Linn da Quebrada.

“I have always been a big woman, with a thin waist, butt, thighs and chest. I was a girl when Sophia Loren, through the screens, gave me a sense of body”, says Fafá de Belém in the publication.
