In opposing camps in the election in SP, PSOL and PSB are in advanced talks for an agreement in Florianópolis (SC).
The tendency is for the parties to unite around the candidacy of state deputy Marquito (PSOL). The alliance can also count on the PDT.
The PT is already trying to present its own name. In Santa Catarina, as the Panel showed, the party wants to elect up to 30 mayors, a jump from the 11 elected in 2020.
In the opposing camp, the current mayor, Topazio Neto (PSD), must seek re-election. He has already received the support of parties such as MDB, União Brasil and Republicans — Jair Bolsonaro’s PL was heading towards this, but may launch a pure-blood ticket.
