Dino clashes with Moro, Flávio and Marcos do Val in the Senate – 5/9/2023 – Politics

The Minister of Justice, Flávio Dino, had new clashes this Tuesday morning (9) with opponents of President Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva (PT) in Congress. This time, with Senators Sergio Moro (Podemos-PR), Flávio Bolsonaro (PL-RJ) and Marcos do Val (Podemos-ES).

Dino stated that Marcos do Val may be from Swat, but that he is from the avengers. The term alludes to superheroes from the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

“You don’t need to go to the door of the Ministry of Justice to make internet video. If you’re from Swat, I’m from the Avengers. Do you know Captain America? Spider-Man? So that’s how we do it democratic debate,” he said.

Elected in the Bolsonarist wave of 2018, the senator presents himself as an instructor at Swat, NASA, the FBI and even the Vatican. The Swat pin he wears on his lapel can be purchased online for R$60.

Dino’s statement was given after the senator questioned the minister about the January 8 actions. “GDias, who everyone said they didn’t know anything about, appeared in the images. In a little while, a matter of time, you will see images of Minister Flávio Dino in the facilities during the period”, he said.

In February of this year, Marcos do Val revealed a meeting with then-president Bolsonaro in which a coup plot was allegedly discussed to revoke Lula’s victory in last year’s election, which included recording Minister Alexandre de Moraes, of the STF (Supreme Court Federal), illegally to embarrass him.

Moraes, at the time, stated that the plot involving Jair Bolsonaro (PL) reported by the senator was a “Tabajara attempt” at a coup.
