This Tuesday (9), deputy leaders of the Lula government met with the Minister of Labor, Luiz Marinho. Federal deputy Alencar Santana (PT-SP) suggested the creation of a name for the bill that aims to regulate the profession of app drivers, aiming to facilitate understanding of the proposal.
In the video, Santana talks about the need for a “communication offensive” to face the criticism that the PL has received.
The proposal provides for contributions to the INSS (National Social Security Institute), maternity benefit and minimum payment per hour of work in the amount of R$32.09 (which corresponds to a minimum wage, currently R$1,412). The project needs approval from Congress to take effect.
