In an interview with the Ponto de Encontro program (Daily FM 90.9) this Thursday, 11th, the coordinator of the Internal Affairs of the Regional Electoral Court of Amapá (TRE-AP), Eliene Freitas, warned about the deadline for issuing the first copy of the title, regularizing the electoral situation, requesting the transfer of electoral domicile and other registration updates.
“We are close to the closing of registrations, which ends on May 8th; It is important to give the message to the voters of Amapá. The lines are not long yet; Anyone who has a pending issue with the Electoral Court must appear at the Electoral Registry Office as soon as possible.”warned Eliene.
The coordinator reinforced the warning by informing that close to deadlines, high demand at the agency is common, which can lead to queues. “Our voters in the capital can be served in either of the two zones; We have a high demand for the Citizenship House (2nd Electoral Zone), as it is more central”said Eliene.
“We have the Casa da Cidadania da Zona Norte, which is located behind the Federal Court building; there is the demand for the smallest voter; If he looks there he will be attended to faster.”suggested Eliene.
Concluding the agenda, the coordinator informed that from April 15th onwards, TRE-AP will extend opening hours at electoral offices in the capital and interior of the state. The units will operate from 8 am to 6 pm.
“The electoral justice system has services on the internet and, through applications, voters can request some services, except the collection of biometrics, which must be done in person”concluded Eliene.
Electoral Zones
As said by Eliene Freitas on the radio program, Amapá has ten electoral zones, in addition to service points in some municipalities.
“We don’t have these posts in Cutias and Itaubal, but now at the end of the enlistment, in the last five days we will set up a structure to serve the electorate”informed the coordinator.
