Dádiva brings together 26 women’s beers for Women’s Day – 02/20/2024 – Full Cup

Used to launching a special label every year to celebrate International Women’s Day (and bringing up a topic linked to the date that deserves to be debated), Cervejaria Dádiva expanded the project this year.

In addition to its new label, Dádiva, founded by Luiza Lugli Tolosa, brings together 26 breweries in the project Created by They, Led by Women, in which the main brand is female entrepreneurship.

The beers will be brought together at a party on Saturday (9/3), one day after the event, at Greta Galpão, in the Vila Madalena region (west zone of São Paulo), from 1pm to 8pm. The first batch of tickets is on sale at Sympla, for R$40 — draft beers will be charged separately, as will other drinks and various foods.

“In 2024, the beer industry is still completely stigmatized and seen as masculine, but there are many of us, and we have incredible and important projects and products for the sector”, says Luiza. “Without women in the beer industry, this wheel won’t turn. And the aim of this year’s campaign is for us to strengthen ourselves, support each other and be even more inspired. We want everyone to know who we are, where we are and where we still want to be and are going to get” , he states.

The project was born after a post on the brewery’s social network on November 19th last year, to talk about female entrepreneurship day. “We talked about some breweries that we know and admire, founded and led by women”, recalls Luiza. In the comments, several recommendations came from breweries with women at the helm, from different states.

At Greta Galpão, 20 taps will have draft beer made by women. In addition, the event will have wines by the glass, selected by sommelière Patrícia Brentzel. The party will also feature a samba circle, samba rock and DJ Yaga Goya for the musical part.

“There are different trajectories of women brewers that will be showcased at this event, beautiful projects that can be closely followed by visitors in an inclusive, happy environment, with lots of music, good food and full of incredible beers”, guarantees Luiza.
