A busy ceremony marked the inauguration of the 24 state deputies of the 9th Legislature of the Legislative Assembly of the State of Amapá (Alap), on the afternoon of this Wednesday, February 1st. The formal session was attended by Governor Clécio Luís (SD).
Before the start of work, the state manager spoke of the importance of the state parliament for the development of the state.
“The big changes, the big themes and the big debates go through this House of Laws and the approval of the deputies. So, being here is witnessing the beginning of the work of these men and women elected by the people as their representatives”, highlighted the governor.
The inaugural session was chaired by Deputy Kaká Barbosa (PL) and Secretary Jory Oeiras (PP). In the opening speech, the current president of the state Legislature said he was “satisfied with the direction that the House took during his administration and proud to have been led to another term”, still speaking of a unique candidacy for the presidency, not even using the word withdrawal from re-election.
Those taking office delivered the diplomas issued by the Electoral Court and the due declarations of good; then, everyone took an oath through the State Constitution, pledging to defend the interests of the people of amapa.
The big moment was the signing of the Term of Possession, when the new deputies received the parliamentary pin from family members. The following were sworn in: Aldilene Souza (PDT); Alliny Serrão (UB); Dayze Marques (SD); Delegate Inácio Maciel (PDT); Diogo Senior (MDB); doctor Victor Amoras (Rede); Edna Auzier (PSD); Fabrício Furlan (Rede); Hildegard Gurgel (UB); Jack JK (SD); Jaime Perez (PTB); Jesus Bridges (PDT); Jory Oeiras (PP); Junior Favacho (MDB); Kaka Barbosa (PL); Liliane Abreu (PV); Lorran Barreto (PSD); Paulo Nogueira (PT); Pastor Oliveira (Republicans); R. Nelson Vieira (PL); Rayfran Beirão (Pros); Roberto Goes (UB); Telma Nery (Citizenship) and Zeneide Costa (We can).
At the end of the ceremony, the most voted deputy in the 2022 Elections, Inácio Maciel, spoke on behalf of the sworn-in deputies. He defended unity and plurality in the work of deputies, on behalf of the development of the State.
“We were elected to be representatives of the people of Amapa. On here [no parlamento] we will deal with ideological differences, but in the end what must prevail is the guarantee of the interests of our people and, above all, the path for the development of our State”, pondered Maciel.
